It all started with an invitation from a friend to make a piece for an annual Star Wars exhibition. I love miniatures, and have always been fascinated by "impossible bottles," so I decided to challenge myself and put a spin on the classic ship in a bottle.  Each year I create a new (Star)Ship in a Bottle based on one of the vehicles or characters from the Star Wars franchise.

All of the sculptures are approximately 1 inch cubed and created out of paper. They are then encased in glass globes and attached to painted wood blocks.
